Valentine, or just “Val” is a young woman in her 20s. Seeking a more clothing optional lifestyle, she packed up her things and moved to the little seaside town of Holly Bay. She tends to be a sweet, optimistic person who truly just wants to enjoy life with good friends, a cozy house, and no clothes. Now that she’s living in Holly Bay, a town with a very relaxed opinion on nudity, she finally gets to make those dreams a reality.

fun bonus info!• The name of the town, Holly Bay, is named that way because I thought it kind of sounded like the word “holiday”. Since a few of the main characters are loosely based on holidays (Val being Valentine’s Day, Noelle being Christmas), I thought it’d be a fitting name.• Valentine herself was loosely inspired by Elle Woods from the 2001 movie Legally Blonde. Primarily Elle’s positive demeanor and love of feminine, pink things. Val’s car, a 2000’s Porsche Boxter, is also directly inspired by the car Elle Woods has in the original Legally Blonde movie. The main difference being that Val’s car is pink, of course, instead of black.• The pink and red flowers in comic #2 were an attempt at subtle foreshadowing. The red flower representing Noelle, who first appears in comic #5, and the pink flower representing Val. I had already designed Noelle and planned on adding her to the comic, so I thought the flowers would be cute.

• I once secretly added myself into the comic as a background character. I occasionally do this in both of my webcomics (either drawing myself or my persona character) because frankly I find it fun.
